Frequently Asked Questions

When will my order arrive?

Your delivery date will depend on the shipping and delivery method shown and paid for. We use DPD and at checkout you can choose which type of delivery you want to pay for. 

Please note, beer machines will be despatched within 7 days of order.

 

Where do you ship 11g Kegs?

We can only ship 11g kegs locally around our depot in Hillington, Glasgow. You are always free to collect. (Please note that all 11g kegs are subject to a keg deposit charge)

 

Can I order for a specific date?

Yes, if you communicate with us at the time of ordering we will do our utmost to ensure delivery requests are met. We are however at the behest of our courier, so as long as they do their job, most things can be achieved.

 

How do I cancel my order?

Whilst we hope it won’t happen we realise that on occasions you require to cancel your order. Please send an e-mail to info@thekegshed.co.uk advising us that you wish to cancel and quoting your order number and stating the reason for cancellation. If your order has already been dispatched and you decide to cancel then you can return it to us assuming it is undamaged and in the original packaging, if there is no fault with the order and this has purely been a “change in requirements” then this return will be at the customer’s cost.

 

What courier service does the Keg Shed use?

DPD - please note that they offer an overnight service... in case of a beer emergency!!

Please note: The delivery day will be determined by the partner in most cases it can be next day or within 48 hours but during peak times this may be increased.

 

Can I change delivery details after an order is dispatched?

Once an order has been dispatched Keg Shed cannot amend any delivery details, or offer any refunds unless the product itself is proven to be faulty.

 

What happens if I am not in when my beer is delivered?

If you are not present when the courier attempts delivery, a card should be left to arrange re-delivery or you can pick up from the relevant depot, whatever is more suitable to you.

 

Can I have my order delivered to another address other than my own?

Yes, no problem! Just select an address other than your own and we will dispatch there for you.

 

What is the shelf life of a Keg Shed blade?

Even after you've tapped it for the first time, the beer inside your Blade Keg will stay fresh for up to 30 days.

 

Is there a physical shop I can purchase from?

I have a discount code, how do I use it?

At checkout, there is a box where you can enter the discount code.

 

What if my keg or equipment is faulty?

If your keg is faulty, email us at info@thekegshed.co.uk with the following information:

  • Your order number
  • Your contact details
  • Any details of the fault
  • Photographs of the faulty keg
